Kevin Henkes

I purchased a Kevin Henkes author study on teachers pay teachers by Ashley Reed.  It had so many great activities and vocabulary cards for his stories!  We loved comparing his stories.  Most of the stories we read had mice as characters.  They dealt with a lot of the same problems real kids face in school and with their friends.  We were able to make lots of text to self, text, and world connections.  Here are some of the activities we did to go along with this author study.
